OUR DELIVERY POLICY
We use ParcelForce for all orders within Mainland UK. Express 24 usually takes 1-2 working days, although we endeavour to deliver earlier than this where possible. Please see below for more information. The maximum amount of beer you can order online is 24 cans.
For all Next (working) Day Delivery options and Saturday Delivery, your order must be placed by 12 pm Tuesday and Thursday to qualify. For example, if you place an order at 2 pm on a Tuesday it will be delivered to you on Thursday.
If you place an order after 12 pm Thursday or at the weekend, it will be delivered on Tuesday.
If you provide us with your mobile number at the checkout you will receive a text message on the day of delivery that will allow you to choose whether to:
- Parcelforce can also enable you to reschedule your delivery to an alternative day (up to 2 days ahead) or opt for a neighbour or Post Office® collection
- Notified of delivery on the day of dispatch and the day of delivery to keep you updated on your delivery. Parcelforce will also provide a 30-90 minute pre-delivery notification, so they’ll know they are on their way.
If you don’t provide a number and you aren’t in, you’ll be left a card that will allow you to select from the above options.

DELIVERY COSTS AND TIMES
Orders must be received by 12 pm Monday-Friday to be processed the following day.
Any item ordered after 12 pm, at Bank Holidays or the weekend will be processed and dispatched on a Tuesday. Please bear this in mind with our delivery times.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER
As soon as you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email from Northern Monk Web Shop and you will receive another email when it has been dispatched (with a text message on the day of delivery if your parcel is shipped with ParcelForce and you have entered your phone number at the checkout). Please note that the tracking number included on this dispatch email may take a few hours to show in the courier’s system so don’t worry if it doesn't show you the details of delivery immediately.
If you are not in when delivery is made a card will be left with contact details for you to arrange another delivery. Should these delivery attempts fail, the goods will be returned to us and a full credit for the product will be issued to your account, minus the delivery charge.
All goods require a signature from an adult who is over the age of 18. We will not deliver alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
Please note: For Next Day orders the order must be placed by 12 pm Tuesday and Thursday to be delivered the next working day.
