As the altitude grows, so does the beer. we've stepped up from the success of Striding Edge to a 5% IPA for the second of our Ricky Lightfoot collaborations. The aim was the same though, just how much body and flavour could we build in to defy the ABV? Oats make a large portion of the grist to boost that silky mouthfeel and we've also gone heavy on the Vienna, a base malt treated at slightly higher temperatures than normal to give a more prominent biscuit flavour profile and good body contribution.
